Our Services

We offer a wide range of mechanical design services to meet the needs of various industries.

Engineering Design Support

Thanks to the in-depth, extensive experience of our engineering team, we can offer you a comprehensive design service or, alternatively, support your existing team. We can optimize conceptual designs by keeping the Design for Manufacturing (DFM), Design for Assembly (DFA), safety, maintenance, and ergonomics firmly in mind to ensure the best possible solution for your organization's unique challenges.

We can provide one-off expert help with projects to meet key deadlines or fill in for illness or holiday absences. Our team can bring new techniques, a fresh perspective, and innovative ideas to your designs. Alternatively, you can also outsource your long-term mechanical design needs to us, saving money and resources.

We can offer a full design service or we can provide assistance to your own team.

We can do Reverse Engineering, Process change to improve Cycle Time, Bill of Materials (BOM), Cycle Time, Risk Assessments, FMEA's, etc.

2D to 3D Conversion

We offer 3D CAD services to small businesses and individuals, taking 2D input across various formats and converting them into 3D CAD neutral file formats such as STEP and IGES. These neutral 3D CAD files can be directly imported into Rapid Prototyping or Computer-Aided Machining tools or exchanged with other CAD systems, ensuring seamless collaboration and compatibility.

Special Purpose Machines

We are able to develop and design bespoke, innovative special purpose machines for the manufacturing and automotive sectors that meet the specific needs of your organization. Whether you need to convert a manual station to an automatic one or develop a pick and place system, we are on hand to help. We don't just design, but we can also manufacture these special purpose machines to provide you with a complete solution.

Most projects start with a customer’s problem, however some are from existing or established designs. We will determine the initial customer user requirement specification (URS) before progressing to the functional design specification (FDS), after the required number of consultative meetings we reach an agreement with you our customer. The scope and FDS are the foundations on which the plan of the project progresses, having gone through a number of planning meetings, model simulation and reviews the project passes to our engineering teams to produce the machinery to the agreed design and specification.

Jigs & Fixtures

We can provide jigs and fixtures to meet the needs of all market sectors, complementing automated systems and special purpose machinery. We'll determine your specific requirements and ensure they remain the focus of our functional design specifications for your approval. Additionally, all our jigs and fixtures undergo internal factory acceptance testing before we release them to you.

Due to the nature of the requirement some projects start from a blank page, however we also often work to existing established designs. We consider jigs, fixtures and small tooling to be essential to your operational efficiency and give them the same regard as a large machine or automated system.
